Vintage Navajo hand-crafted Heishi shell necklace with silver beads and an added vintage, artist-signed, scrimshaw pendant. This necklace comes from a vintage collection of gently used items. Heishi beads, popular to southwestern-style jewelry, that are shell, are hand-strung by the Navajo and embellished with the vintage scrimshaw deer etching in the cabochon, which is signed by the artist. The hasp is a twist barrel for secure fastening accented on either side of the necklace with silver beads.
