Rare Vintage Wax Doll signed by the artist Ann Jackson. This exquisite doll features glass eyes and mohair hair, a unique example of her artistry. Made in the 1980s.
The doll's torso, upper arms, and legs are made of stuffed cloth; head, chest, lower arms, and lower legs are crafted from wax. The wax shows some yellowing due to age, most noticeably on the upper arms and legs, with a few minor nicks. Beautiful glass eyes are complemented by finely painted eyelashes and brows, with subtle freckles hand-painted on her face. Her strawberry blonde hair is soft mohair. Fully original from head to toe. Artist's signature is on the head, and a tag sewn into the body reads 'A. Jackson.' Measures 15" tall. Original clothing in very good condition. Wax dolls by A.
