Vintage & Rare Italian Hand-Carved Slag Roosters on Stone Base. Made in Italy - Numbered 012/A.
This charming and unique pair of hand-carved Italian roosters is a beautiful addition to any vintage or folk art collection. Each rooster is perched atop a solid stone base. The exact type of slag stone used is uncertain--possibly marble or alabaster.
Condition: One rooster has a small chip (please see photos). Aside from that, both are in good vintage condition with no major flaws. Sold AS-IS.
Total Weight: 5 lbs 12 oz. Overall Measurements: Entire sculpture: 7 1/2" H x 4" L x 3" W (stone base). Each rooster: 4 3/4" H x 3 1/2" L x 2 1/4" W (at widest point). Review all photos carefully.
