Set of 4 vintage, handcrafted Seminole Indian palmetto dolls. Sizes range from 1.75 inches to 4 inches.
The smallest doll is a pin-on. This rare set is in great condition.
These original vintage traditional Miniature Seminole Indian Dolls are cloth-wrapped with palmetto fiber husk and feature a round head with beaded necklace. The costume exemplifies Native American Seminole textile work and represents an authentic traditional Seminole Women’s dress; sporting the 1930's -1940’s hairstyle represented as black cloth over a crescent cardboard frame, beaded earrings and necklace. A unique piece of Seminole history.
