Vintage 1965 Auguste Rodin Sculpture - The Hand Of God - Alva Museum Replica featuring Adam and Eve in the Creator's Hand.
A vintage reproduction of Auguste Rodin’s 1906-era sculpture, made by Alva Museum Replicas in 1965. Depicts the hand of God emerging from a rough-hewn block of marble holding a clod of earth in which a newly formed Adam and Eve are entwined.
Made of a white-ish Alvastone composition mounted to a wood base. Excellent sculptural detail. No cracks or damage. Measures approximately 7.5" inches high. Base is about 6.75" inches by 6" inches.
Original Title: The Hand of God. Artist: Auguste Rodin (French, Paris 1840–1917 Meudon). Date: original model before 1895, carved ca. 1907. Culture: French. Medium: Marble. Please review all photos.
