Vintage pair of hand-painted paper mache parrot and cockatoo on a perch, a beautiful addition to any collection. The intricate details and vibrant colors showcase the Mexican culture of folk art. Each piece is signed, with "Mexico" inscribed, indicating the artist and country of origin.
The birds feature an amazing contrast of pastel and bold colors, and are made with amazing detail. The perches are also paper mache and has leaves and vines wrapped around them. There is one minor flaw on the cockatoo – the middle crest has a small hole, but it's not evident when perched. It’s a vintage piece of paper mache so also some other minor flaws are a possibility.
