Vintage 1960s Skipper & Skooter Lot – Skipper #950 in Rare “Sledding Fun” #1936 + Skooter #1040 in “Silk N Fancy” #1902 & “Dress Coat” #1906 – Mattel Japan.
Skipper in the one-year-only “Sledding Fun” #1936 (1966), includes the tagged ski jacket with faux fur collar, matching bonnet, red turtleneck, navy pants with attached socks, one mitten, and the original squishy JAPAN red boots. (Only the sled and second mitten are missing.) Outfits show vivid color and crisp structure, with working snaps and zipper.
Also included: Titian Skooter #1040 wearing “Silk N Fancy” #1902 with JAPAN flats (missing headband/socks), plus her elegant “Dress Coat” #1906 with hat and purse. Both dolls retain strong facial paint; Skipper’s hair trimmed to a bob, Skooter’s Titian pigtails tied with white ribbons.
