Vintage Tonala Large Cat, 16 inches. Mexican Folk Art, Burnished Pottery, approximately 10 lbs.
In good condition with wear consistent with age. Some chipping of paint. Measures approximately 16" wide x 12" tall x 9" wide.
This large, heavy cat (10 lbs) features hand-painted and polished elaborate detail. Minor chips on bottom rim as shown in photos. Handmade and burnished in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico, representing Mexican Folk art and barro brunido ceramic traditions. Excellent for collectors of fine Mexican Folk Art or cat enthusiasts!
