This vintage wool blanket is handcrafted by artisanals in the western highlands of Momostenango, Guatemala through the following intricate process:
1. Wool is gathered from local sheep and manually spun into the thread.
2. The thread is then naturally dyed using wood (such as alder and oak), vegetables and seeds.
3. The thread is then woven in handmade pedal loom to produce a blanket.
4. The blanket is then soaked in natural volcanic water to set the color and desired texture.
5. It is then hung to dry and combed with bamboo for its final look.
