This rare Y-4 Models of Yesterday is from a large vintage collection. The model appears to be in mint condition.
Features bronze construction, three black firemen in white uniforms with red/black helmets, and bronze black horses with white manes/tails and gold harness.
Red bronze body with gold number 72 and "LONDON FIRE BRIGADE" lettering. Original box in great shape with history of the Shand Mason Fire Engine on the back. Box marked with REGD U.S. PAT. OFF, MARCA REGISTRADA, "MATCHBOX" REGD. T. M. GB AND ABROAD, MADE IN ENGLAND.
Unique color variation with horse and fireman uniform colors as described. A must-have for Matchbox collectors!
