Original WW2 German Wehrmacht mess kit marked G&CL 40, indicating the manufacturer and date of 1940. DHS 40 (or similar) marking on the bottom part. Original paint. Spoon/fork is possibly post-war and unmarked. Soldier's name scratched into the front. A great addition to any collection or for reenactments.
