Framed 7x15 inch D-Day display featuring original wood from the USS Texas BB-35 and HMS Rodney (29), along with Omaha Beach sand.
Includes a photo of the USS Texas, which flooded herself to provide gun elevation during the Omaha Beach bombardment. Also includes a photo of the invasion towards Omaha Beach with attached sand. The HMS Rodney, famous for its role in sinking the Bismarck, is also represented with a wood piece.
Each wood piece is 0.6 x 0.6 inch square. Includes LOA and copies of documentation, such as COA from USS Texas.
